The evolution of POS hardware
With 71stores and continuing to expand, PILLOW TALK relies heavily on a robust and modern point-of- sale infrastructure. The company’s partnership with AURES began over a decade ago, when it transitioned to all-in-one touchscreen POS terminals and deployed the YUNO B across its network. As with any long-term hardware deployment, devices eventually age, software demands increase, and PILLOW TALK reached a point where it needed to plan for the end-of-life of its existing POS solution.
THE ADVANTECH-AURES SOLUTION
PILLOW TALK had experienced exceptional performance and reliability with the YUNO B platform. So much so that when they were considering a refresh they had no hesitation to move to the next generation of YUNO terminal, the YUNO II.
The YUNO II is the upgraded version of the popular YUNO platform and offers improved performance thanks to the higher specification processors.
The upgraded unit also features a slightly slimmer design but under the hood is where the YUNO II redefines the future.
The YUNO II features a modular motherboard design that houses the processor, RAM and SSD. The module is connected to via two USB C ports making it an easy to service and upgrade unit.
The magnetic rear cover allows for easy cleaning or maintenance without the need for tools.
