The TWILSONS “neobistro” restaurant chain is equipping itself with ADVANTECH-AURES ordering terminals and entrusting MOREL CHR with all of its IT deployments.

Created by Anwar TOUIL and his brother in 2019, after more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant business, TWILSONS revisits traditional bistro classics while complementing them with flavors from around the world, offering a diverse range of tastes with Asian, New York, and Dubai influences.

Fresh, varied, and cooked on site, the menus and dishes offered by TWILSONS in its restaurants in Gennevilliers and the Forum des Halles in Paris (Westfield center) are delicious, which explains the growing success of the brand, which is always busy.

To meet demand and ensure fast, flawless service, the brand chose to deploy a management and payment solution available on interactive kiosks from the moment it opened, allowing consumers to place their orders quickly and pay freely and independently.

The KIOSK solutions available at TWILSONS are ADVANTECH-AURES KOMET terminals, in a wall-mounted version for optimized space savings and accessibility.

The deployment and maintenance of the terminals (and the YUNO II POS terminals also installed) are handled by Frédéric MOREL’s teams (MOREL CHR); the equipment is operational thanks to the PHARE software platform (KIOSK version), whose latest developments allow full access to all the applications and features necessary for the terminals to function, both front and back office (order management and payment with assignment of a table number (table service), management of restaurant vouchers, communication with point-of-sale terminals and kitchen screens, remote IT management, etc.).

“The choice of interactive ordering terminals was an obvious one for us,” explains Anwar TOUIL, co-founder and director of the brand.

“To streamline the customer experience and avoid queues that inevitably clog up dining areas and drive customers away, kiosks have become a necessity today. customers benefit because they no longer have to queue and are served much more quickly, without wasting time, especially during busy periods; for us restaurateurs, the kiosks represent a profitable and sustainable investment: they systematically reduce congestion in our restaurants while optimizing our turnover; everyone is satisfied, first and foremost our customers and regulars—and us operators too.

The PHARE software platform, on which TWILSONS’ POS and KIOSK IT development is based, is a tool that has been around for over 20 years (for the POS version). Running on Windows, it is easy to use and very ergonomic; it provides complete management of both TWILSONS establishments, both front and back office, as well as remotely.

The ADVANTECH-AURES hardware deployed at TWILSONS includes KOMET kiosks, YUNO II point-of-sale terminals, and YUNO Kiosk kitchen display screens (KDS).
